Make time for IT

in How do we do it all?

I remember back in one of last year's store clinics, someone asked "how do I make time for "it" all?"  Assuming she meant training by the word "it", I would reply quite simply..."Make time for IT".    The old saying, "if it's important, do it everyday" applies to your physical health and well being.   And if you consider Triathlon training as part of keeping your health and well being; then do something every day.

Annual Training

Now is the best time of the "season" to be making your annual training and racing plans.  If you haven't done so yet, sit down this weekend and, at a minimum, figure out your "A" races/events you plan to do.  This is for several reasons: 1. You need to start laying out your training blocks, i.e.base,build,taper,race.   2. Many of the popular events sell out early, so if that event is important to you; you better get in now to ensure your spot.   This sport has taken off in the past few years and many events that you could sign up the month before are now selling out 6-12 months in advance or within minutes of registration opening.
